VMI under the CAA Part CAO Approval has the capability to repair Aircraft Components, complete fuselages, wings and Flying controls, details on our scope of work and capability page
Aircraft Component Restoration
VMI has the CAA BCAR A8-24 approval for ex military types for component restoration. This can include complete aircraft components. For the last 17 years VMI has prided in assisting dozens of Spitfire restoration projects.
Repair Fixtures and Tooling
Within the experience at VMI we have the capability to fabricate repair jigs and fixtures for in house work and supply to industry. A specialist machine shop is on hand to reverse engineer and work to drawings to produce whatever is needed to complete the tasks required.
